I have recently started trying to make a small App for myself using Microsoft Access, and some sort of interface or method to get information would be a HUGE HELP! I know that Supercell has a lot on their plates, as well as much more important things that actually make them money (since that is their bottom line, and this feature would really only be for hardcore fans.) But I have given it a lot of thought, and have some good ideas as to how this can be accomplished as easily as possible.
1. An export feature in-game.
This sort of approach has already been mentioned multiple times. But there are a couple different implementations that I would like to see. The first and most important for me is to have a "Export War Results" option. This could be as easy as saving a .txt file with all the important information, like war summary, and all of your members attacks and results. A step up would be a spreadsheet with the results in a table.
A second export feature that would be nice that could be available to just clan leaders/co-leaders/elders is a general export feature for all members, donations, and trophies.
2. A website that you enter a code and presents war results.
Much like the clan tag, and village tag, a war tag could be generated for every war. It would only be useful as long as the details are available in-game. But you could go to a webpage where it would generate a table or even show in plaintext all of the war results, similar to the war export function above. This really wouldn't be too hard to do, since all of the information is already stored in a database, and could be recalled fairly simply.
3. A website that functions similarly to the in-game search.
This is not as useful, since there would be no war results, but simply having all the information available to copy and paste would make data entry much more easy for donations and keeping track of current members.
I know this would probably not come for a long time, but it would be the coolest thing and I'm sure many people would appreciate it.
API for clan member stats would be great. I approve of this thread.
An API would be great. Lacking that an excel or similar download would be good too. Right now there is a website called cocwar.net. Data entry is tough, but I have a chrome extension called cocwar Data Entry on the chrome store.
