I just got a boat that asks for 3 Apple jams in one crate. How can that be possible to even fill one crate of 3 Apple jams? It takes over 5 hours to make 1 Apple jam. The time limit for the boat is approximately 15 hours. It can't be done. Even if you mark it for help. Guess this is one boat that will not totally get filled. It's too late to let it go, cuz I already filled a few other items. 😟
It's not impossible if you plan ahead of time.
I stockpile at least 20 of each jams so if I get these boats, I have no problem filling. I can fill other players' jam boats as well. I stack jams outside my jam-maker too, just in case.
You have time to prepare for the boat too, if you tap on the dock it will tell you what the next boat will ask for. There's a link around here somewhere that shows how much the boat will ask for at your level.
Also try the food trading thread. Or ask in your NH or see if any FB/GC friends have any jams they can sell or trade.

Yep, jam is crazy until you build up a stock.
But here's the thing: the global community DOES help. Strangers fill crates. I couldnt believe it when I first saw it. But they do. I have filled strangers' jam crates sometimes too. I still don't believe that.
Enable diamond confirmation in settings --- but beware: it only works in some places!
