I'm a little surprised myself. I expected the update to be disappointing but it's fallen short of even my low expectations which is hard to do! I thought for sure there'd be some new products or at least one new machine to throw a bone to some people but, wow, not even that!

I was actually joking when I asked if SC expects players occupy themselves for another 6 months by rearranging their farms but that's exactly what it is. Don't get me wrong, quality of life updates have their place though usually they're between content updates. Now it's going to be at least one a half years since HD actually got any new content. That just blows my mind.

You took the words right out of my mind! I couldn't come up with enough sophistication for the negative thoughts rolling around in my head to have them come out of my mouth correctly, but this is exactly how I feel minus a Lot of swear terminology!!

I guess there is no satisfying everyone. 🤔🙁

Why rant knowing there are more sneak peaks to come which could very well address those things?

Where did you read there will be two more sneak peeks? I would have thought the sneak peeks are over and the update is coming tomorrow morning Finland time as is usually the case ... that is, updates on Monday (derby off-day). Did Nick or someone say it will be different this time? Thx.

No one here knows. Nick has expressly stated many times that the schedule is never announced.

In particular, on one of the sneak peek threads, when asked, Nick said maybe there's one more sneak peek maybe two, maybe none.

In other words: not telling us.

Incidentally, previous updates have been known to happen during a Derby, so there's no reason to assume Monday is the only day it can take place. (Even if it does seem the most logical time to do it, how can a company guarantee that there'll be no snags? Impossible. Hence, any day is as likely as Monday.)

In short: be prepared for any day this week.

But no one knows.

I have to say that I too am underwhelmed. 😕

At least as far as we've seen the focus isn't on the derby this time.
And I get that they are responding to player requests regarding Edit Mode and Everywhere Chat. And while neither interests me I get that there are people pleased with it. So that's a plus!

It used to be that I got excited about updates but the last few including this one I just don't find interesting.
At least my critters will be able to take their winter clothes off. 😁

Nick is there any improvements on diamond confirmation?? i recently boughta net for 7 diamonds. Instead of droping lob trap in lake i dropped net n coz of my quick fingers i clicked on 7 diamonds but it didn't ask for confirmation. Also it happens to me on boat dock and town train station. Please improve these things too. Forward it to the team

I asked him that in a recent thread which basically turned into a Q&A with Nick.

He said there is no changes regarding Diamond confirmations in this update, but the team have been discussing it so perhaps a future update.

I'm hopeful we get more in the update after this one, I've burnt a bunch of diamonds on accidental decorations on two different occasions.
