Bring back the ability to upgrade level 7 walls with elixir!
I'm halfway finished upgrading my defenses, and I've upgraded all but spells and a few dark troops in my lab. However, I've managed to upgrade maybe 20 walls. This is still a copious amount of gold for a TH8, and my elixir is just sitting there having little use. I decided to use more expensive armies, but I'm still sitting at around 5 million constantly.
If all your defenses are max, good. If all your barracks, spells, mines/pumps upgraded, good. Then upgrade your town hall and while it is being upgraded farm gold to max out the walls. Save the excess elixir/gold and dark elixir to upgrade lab and everything else!

i have given a similar reply before to a similar post. upgrade your th and from th9 the problem will not exist again even if you decide to fully max out everything before moving ahead. no law says you must max out everything 100%. and if you must, then the little price to pay is a little waste of resources
