War Search Scheduling - Idea

Just had a thought, what if you could schedule a war start time and begin the search well in advance?

So for example, war start at 8pm, and you can start the search up to 12 hours in advance and take advantage of a more thorough matching algorithm.

Based on this it sounds like there might be some post match processing taking place:

Team-versus-team compositional checks have been added to help weed out imbalanced war matchups.

The earlier you start the match the more of this could take place, resulting in better chances of a really good match.

I really like this idea a lot. It would solve even bad matching issues even after the coming update and a lot of clans would love to be able to start wars at a consistent time. If two clans say I'd like to start at X:XX time they can be matched ahead of time.

It could work by saying "A match has been found and will be revealed at the beginning of Prep day". So, no pre scouting or awareness of who the opponent is, no pre filling of war CCs - no prep day activities at all.

Potential draw back - a long period of time when someone can sneak in an upgrade or purchase. Not sure this is a huge factor but something to think about.

Yeah good thought. I guess there's probably a few sticking points something like this may create - as with anything in a game of such complexities.
