As an avid user of EQ spells for walls, I must even admit

That the ability to destroy walls should be linked to spell level. EQ as a standalone to cause damage to high HP buildings is nice, but it's not a deal breaker, most ppl use it to take down walls. As such, there needs to be incentive to upgrade it. This makes the people who invested in walls happier and balances the game, a th 8 shouldn't be able to crack into a th 9 base with lvl 10 walls.

Lvl 1 eq = destroy lvl 8 walls and below
    lvl 2 = lvl 9 walls
    Lvl 3 eq = lvl 10 walls
    lvl 4 eq = lvl 11 walls

The 4 Earthquakes strategy isn't that good, seeing that a maxed jump spell will allow troops to bypass walls for half the space. Sure, it only lasts 1 minute but that is more than enough time.

Jump can be quite unreliable, especially for the aq. Quakes tend funnel troops better and get access to de easier

How do you figure? They do the same thing.

Unless you mean the AQ because I have noticed my AQ avoids the jump spell at all cost. I think she hates the green color honestly.

♥♥♥♥ my eyes completely skipped the part where you said AQ. My bad player!

4 eq can prevent the attacker from using 1 jump+ something else dangerous on your base...

not just AQ. witches are notorious for not jumping too, getting isolated along the line and dying. depending on the attack style eq can be more reliable; but we also have some people who consistently use 3 jump spells to funnel troops, i have even seen 2 jumps and 8 eq 3 star a good th10. it all depends on the style at the end of the day.

i agree. it makes lots of sense. using lev 1 eq to crack through max walls really looks odd to me. there are very important advantages anyway to upgrading eq, for example aiming well will not only break wall but also VERY SIGNIFICANTLY weaken high hp buildings like cc, th, eagle, infernos or xbows. but at least a lev 3 should be required for breaking max walls.
