Queen POP is by far my favorite right now and you can start using it with minimal upgrades as well. It also takes heroes out of the equation and many other factors depending on the other clans C.C. troops. You can also hit any level base and be deadly.

All this valk talk lately though has made me think about messing around with them on one account. Always nice to see your strategies and thoughts Tyler. Keep up the good work!!
Yeah, I'm with Lunatic in needing to practice this, I haven't had near as much success with air attacks as I have with ground based armies and that's next on my to learn list. Next easy war!

Maybe? Depending on the base, it could certainly shred an open base. Two golems, four wizards,6ish hogs, some breakers, 3 heals, two poisons and the rest valks. I'd like to see that tested out.

Anyway I didn't get any three stars in our latest two wars with it since I only used it once, and had horrible ai "ruin" my attack on a defensive max 8. The valks ignored my jump spell they were right next to and pounded on a wall early on, getting nothing out of my heal spells.. still ended up with like a 94% two star on a fresh base. I had some of my clanmates who struggle with funneling try it out on some more max bases not optimized for it at all,and they averaged an 85% two star despite sending most of their valks around.

I can't seem to perfect this attack, I can funnel them in no problem, but they scatter around, sometimes in 4 groups which usually leads to fail 100%, but never failed 2 stars, in max base.. I'm in Master 1 for test runs, but I just get around 30% success 100% in max bases. Probably I heal too early, and I only have Lv6/7 Giants in CC cuz nobody donates golem, and I'm MAX TH9 troops.

This is very expensive army build, I've already done more than 20x test runs, and still disappointed in the results. I even flunked out 2 war attacks using this strategy. Maybe I sucked at this, but I usually get 100% in war with max th9 with GoWiPe or GoWiWiPe

100% max th9 with gowipe? We get hit with gowipe after gowipe after gowipe and never see them break 70%. Unlucky splits and ai is the downfall of this attack, but even then with proper hog management you can usually path them where you want away from one side and have the golems/heroes finish off the other side.

Used the mass valk twice in war crushed mid th9 twice. Lv 4 valks are beast. Thanks for sharing this attack strar. Waiting to attack maxed th9 in war. My troops where 18 valks, 8-9 wiz, 4-5 wb, 2 gol 1 in cc 4 heals because had weak walls. I think Lego walls or higher will use 3 heal and 1 jump.

    Just wanted to say thanks!

I'm a very experienced GoHo, and Golaloon (all variants including Queen Pop) attacker, who gets 3 stars on my targets about 90% of the time, but I have been looking to try/learn new 3 star strats, and when I first read this thread 2 weeks ago, it immediately caught my attention.

I have been using valks in my war attacks for the last week, and this is what I've done so far:

    1rst war:

-85% 2 star on my first target due to valks bursting through a wall to the outside because I placed my jump spell a second too late.

    - 3 stars on my second attack vs the top TH9, and 10 out of the 14 valks survived together with my AQ and 2 wizards.

    2nd war:

-3 stars on my first target, which was a rushed TH10 with level 1 infernos (set to multiple), and purple walls. I raged the valks in the core, and they wrecked that so fast that the infernos only took them to half health. This was my first ever 3 star attack vs a TH10 as a TH9, and even if it was a rushed base, it felt really good.

-3 stars on second attack, which was a maxed TH9 with level 25 heroes. That base was wrecked so fast, most of my troops survived, including near full health AQ, and BK, plus I didn't even need to use their abilities.

    3rd war (current):

-3 stars on my first target, which is another maxed TH9 (the #2 in the war map), with maxed defenses, and heroes deep in the core. I only used 10 valks for this attack, because I added 2 witches, and 6 hogs. I actually liked this mix a lot, as the skelies provided distractions for defenses, triggered a couple of spring traps, and 1 DGB. The 6 hogs were dropped surgically 2 per defense on the last few defenses as the valks were taking their fire, and it made for a very clean 3 star clear.

I am definitely going to continue using mass valks, but I think a sprinkle of a few backside hogs really compliments them well.

I have tried this attack three or 4 times now and have consistently achieved two stars at around 75% destruction.

Seems to lack the extra power required to push through the last few defences.

have been using 16 Valks, 13 wizzies and 2 Golems - valks are lvl 4

Using three heals and a jump spell

Pathing of the Valks seems to be the key to the attack - its is too easy for them to veer off course when I use them at the moment.
    Going to miss the forums

No, your composition lacks the end of base power to get through it because you have way too many Wizards and no backend hogs. What are 13 wizards for? Your valks are your dps! The wizards are just going to lag behind the valks and die because they can't engage defenses. The key to the three here is that your valks get you through the core, and you have to think of the base in terms of four quadrants and the core. So you took out a quadrant on entry, then your heroes and golems are going to go after one remaining quadrant, valks will go after another, and your hogs have to surgically pick off the remaining defenses to ensure they have enough steam to get through them. This is a two star strategy without proper hog placement.
