So has anyone tried this way of attacking without the impact of the heroes? I will make smo tests, but will be happy to hear from you any ideas!
This attack doesn't rely on heroes nearly as much as other attacks and it's still a sure two without them, but your queen is great for picking off pesky defenses behind walls behind your golems so it's going to be tougher without her. I'd still give it a shot because other attacks won't be better

All warring 8s are required to have (level) (troop) 3 dragons, 5 lightning, 1 quake, 4 hogs. To have level 1 xbows, all 9s must have 10/10 heroes, 4 golems, 5 hogs, 6 loons, and only upgrade bows when appropriate (high level heroes, full legos, all other defenses, max troops, etc).

So I've been using this since coming across this thread. 4 war attacks so far resulting in 12 stars. All on bases at or above me in the opponents' war line-up.

Great strat, great advice on how to execute it. Thanks, Tyler!

So I am pretty much switching to this attack instead of a Shattered Goho, Valks are basically hogs that are more than twice as durable and yes walls do slow them down but they go through even Lego Walls pretty fast.

I however did manage to fail an attack and got 96%, the reason for that was about 7-8 of my Valks died because I was too late to drop the heal in a spot where there were all 4 Giant Bombs. Waited for Bomb #3 and that went off at the same time as Bomb #4 bc the valks split, should have healed sooner.

Im kinda getting the hang of it, sometimes I end up treating them like Hogs. and then I did a GoHo today and failed bc I dropped the Heals a little late, I suppose its all about "getting a feel for it"

Seeing Youtube Videos of Mass Valks w Elite War Clans like One Hive, although Goho Golaloon and traditional (4 Valks replacing a Golem to get both DGB Sets) GoVaHo, but there were still a few Mass Valks.

OP is right that alot of people should be using this instead of Gowipe or GoWIWI or whatever but the only problem with that is that atleast in my clan almost nobo0dy has their Valks upgraded. 2-3 Max Troops 40/40/10+ Heroes still have Valks at level 1 ;(.

But this attack isnt fool proof aswell as requireing Max or atleast level 3 Valks which alot of people dont have and Im sure are regretting hahah.

    Fun

So after reading this thread I played around with a lopsided GoVaHo, with the weight of the army being Valks (11-12). I've had good results in Raiding and a Three Star on a pretty rushed TH9 in war. This is a fun strategy. If you funnel correctly the Valks do most of the work for you. My Valks are max, but I pretty certain this will work with LVL 2 and 3, you just have to really manage you heal spells. They do tend to have a mind of their own but I agree with the OP, funnel well and you definitely have a 2+/3 star war attack. This attack is going into my rotation! Thanks for the Post!

I would say that, as usual, it depends on the base. Heading into a ~max TH9 with L2 or even L3 valks is likely a risky proposition. You have to manage your heal spells well even with L4 valks on a ~max TH9 war base

This attack was invented by gadi. He even made a guide for it:

This got me really interested. I'm a low-mid TH9 with 10/10 Heroes, struggling in wars. I managed to get a few 3 stars with GoHo, but, as OP said, with low level Heroes it has a great chance of 1 star. Right now, my main troops are L5 Hogs and L4 Golem (coming up in about 9 days).

What I'm wondering is where should I focus my dark elixir in: (1) getting Valks to level 4 (they're still level 1, and I sure regret this), which should take about 40 days, allowing me to use Mass Valks; (2) keep investing on my heroes; (3) get lavas to level 2 and loons to level 6, which would take 24 days; (4) or get witches to level 2?

What do you guys think? Clash on!

If you're struggling, go witches first since it's one upgrade, but do valks right after. Don't worry about your royal levels until your dark troops are maxed. Golaloon imho is a much more complicated attack with less upside

I agree stay away from GoLaLoon for your first 3 star set-ups. I prefer to use GoHo or Queen POP. GoHo with low heroes can be deadly across the board and you have minimal troops to upgrade at the start to get it going. Queen POP is by far my favorite right now and you can start using it with minimal upgrades as well. It also takes heroes out of the equation and many other factors depending on the other clans C.C. troops. You can also hit any level base and be deadly.

All this valk talk lately though has made me think about messing around with them on one account. Always nice to see your strategies and thoughts Tyler. Keep up the good work!!

Now that you say this, I realize that I need to start practicing Queen Pop strat!
