I suppose you can switch dragons with hogs too.
Start farming hard for your new upgrades. Upgrade Laboratory ASAP.
Offense before defense, do what you can with defense on gold but make the lab a priority between defense and offense.
Make sure you have full storages going in.
Forgot lab has to come first.
Lab definitely priority (should be done straight away based on excess of Elixir from TH7)
Upgrades to goblins and archers then barbarians
and one barracks up to Pekka (if you are doing wars)
one dark barracks up to Golems (again if you are doing wars)
For defence
Focus on wizards and mortars and teslas then archer towers
(mortars are pretty cheap as are teslas so might be best starting with them) then when troops are stronger you can probably work on the more expensive upgrades
That would be my approach Clan Castle would also be good to get early on.
