Lol, this reminds me of how now I can watch a whole new season like "Orange is the New Black" within a couple days and then get dismayed when I have to wait a whole year for the next season .

That's why no details are given out before hand until sneak peek time.
Everyone is on a level playing field that way, and things can change from day to day as development unfolds, so SC wouldn't want to upset players by promising a feature that doesn't make it to the update.

The update will be released as soon as it is completed.

Thanks Tink. I was thinking this myself. I sat back and watched with amusement as folks who were convinced that we would need this product or that one for the upcoming event and when it didn't happen they would complain that they now had a barn full of product that no one would buy because they had all followed the original advice to stockpile on the same product. I prefer it just the way it is. it will come when it comes
