Final post of the night, I swear...
Besides using DE to upgrade your heroes, what else are they good for? I was hoping they can be used to instantly heal your heroes after battle, so we can use them on more battles. But it looks like you can only instantly heal them is by using gems. That's kind of lame to me. I raided about 250 DE tonight and can't do anything with it because the lvl2 BK upgrade will cost me 12,500 DE. Of course the available DE to loot will go up as more and more people finish their drills & storages, but I still wish there was another use for them. Just my 2 cents.
400HP? Good to know that they're increasing the HP soon.
But till then, good idea to put all my lightning spells to good use...
I haven't made up my mind on it yet, but I am fairly confident that economy of scale will make Dark Elixir abundant enough to successfully gather it through attacks, it looks like the intention from the game designers is to make the higher level players more keen to risk more attacking higher level players to gain DE and in that I think it will be successful.
Gemming is ultimately irrelevant, it is a time currency that reduces the time it takes to progress in the game, however there is no element to this game, so far that I have seen than can't be progressed past without spending gems. If the overall cap for Theft of DE is below 2400 then that assertion remains true.
