Really? It works for me, it should take you to clash of clans tools. Sometimes you need to try it twice.

Ok, so I went to TH9 almost 3 weeks ago. and since the start I used the transformer layout. till now it's doing a great job for a maxed TH8 going to TH9. minimal losses in resources.

I have uploaded a youtube video of the most successful attack on my base using the loaded die design. The attacker was able to get 80k G, 20K E, 500 DE only because I was upgrading three mortars and wizard tower. Also I had few pervious raids and a half loaded xbow which made on of the xbows stop working at mid battle. Basically one raid will pay back a week worth of defenses.
One note though, I'm currently parked at low trophy range (1200-1400)

Thanks for the video Mavios, it's much appreciated. Upgrading all mortars at the same time really does affect the base performance, lol. Glad it made it through though

Hey superwolf, I never said it was bad, just that it wouldn't function as optimally becuase of each segment in its own enclosed pocket. I've tried that many times before to no avail, it just doesn't work well. It's great that you're coming up with unique designs though.

Certainly my ordinary layout has better tesla placement and may perform better against ground troops, however, my transformer has far better air defence coverage and covers both elixir and gold with wizard towers.

Perhaps the farming layout is better for hardcore gold farmers, but the transformer is more balanced.

the more i look and try to analyze and understand how you arrange your layout , the more i sees every position make sense and really in the best possible position .. Kudos !

another really good thing about your transformer base is that it look handsome !
since u have to look at your base for months , a handsome base is really a plus and eye candy !

btw .. looking at my base , should i start to go TH9 ?

because TH8 , lack 1 wiz tower & 1 air def & xbows .. hence making it tougher to make a handsome base haha ~

btw my base had max all wiz tow + mortar + canons + airdef(lvl4) + archer tower (lvl8) + tesla (lvl2) + 60% lvl8 wall .

still need to wait or can proceed ?

if wait best upgrade archer tower 1st or tesla 1st ?

Big fan of this base. Absolutely love the cc radius. Definitely going to use it when I make the jump to th9
