It's only been years that they've been broken and retired. No one upgrades them or uses them past TH8. Why not drop their housing space down to 6? They are not worth 8 housing spaces. It would be like a whole new unit. Their minor HP and DPS would not unbalance the game at 6 HS. I mean with everyone Super Queen Walking these days, why not mix it up a bit?

they just need a wider funnel is all I've come to find. Also they wreck bases that are tight, close together.
Regardless, I kinda almost regard them as awesome as wizards when used properly. Thing is wizards only take up 4 Spaces. And Valks take up 8. I can understand a slight housing decrease but only slight due to their health and dps.
6 is pushing it, but I think 7 is better.

Goblins are used for milking... the lowest form of play none the less
Giant-healer combo and giants can also be used for subs in golems, also gibarch.
Wall breakers... well duh.
Ballons in ballonion and lavaloon and mass drag for funnels... lvl 7 at th 11 would be good... even at th 10
Healers... well super queen, queen walk, giant-healer, ect
Wiz... gowipe and many other attacks....
Drags... mass drag and clean up on hounds in gowipe attacks.
Pekka... gowipe and other variations
Minion... farming in B.A.M and ballonion
Hogs... luring cc and th 8 and 9 are powerhouses... could ise another lvl.
Valks... govaloon... but thats it basically
Golems... major tanks in attacks
Witches... well what can i as OP as hell
Hounds. Use to clean ari defences in air attacks.
Valks could use a space reduction. Maybe from 8 to 7 or even 6. Giving them the boost and reintroduction they need... maybe also a slight buff on hp would help as they run to their next target???
Or even a 2x damage to walls??? Who knows. Just somethibg to help would be great.
Valks are not broken especially in Th9. Just learn the how powerfull Valks at th9 are.
I always use Valks in every Atk in CW. I use Valks as a Substitute for my King. (King Upgrading)
I think Valks is more usefull against th9 bases, unlike Pekka, TEsla x2 dmg them. Valks also is very Good at killing Heroes especially if your doing a Goho atk.
Maybe Adding an additional Lv in Th10 would be more great for them.

Valks are a very good troop, i use them in war as a th 10 regularly as most people dont design bases taking them into account. That said, they do need some tweaks to make them more functional. They should either get a reduction in movement speed, an increase to attack speed, OR make infernos do less damage to them, maybe half. The way they are now, they run out so far in front of tanks and wiz and with their slow attack speed (take forever to get positioned and their revolutions are far apart) that they either get fried by infernos or splash or you're forced to use a spell prematurely to save them - I have often had to deploy a freeze well before the rest of my army is in range because valks are getting killed.
Tweaks to to the valks are needed but when I need something with relatively high dps and HP that's more reliable than pekkas, valks are clutch.
Valkyrie's terrible delaying attack animation doesn't match with her quick movement speed. I expect her first blow to be without delay. Also, lowering the cost would be nice too: 70 de, 85 de, 110 de, 150 de.
Aaaand... Perhaps... Increase her attack radius so she can hit 3-4 buildings and even from behind walls?
I expect to see valkyrie become more popular and practical than hogs. So far hogs are way more practical and effective than valkyrie as main troop. Duh.
I disagree, they have been broken since the dark spells AI tweek update. You expect them to be core killers. But how often have you got a pack of them into a core and instead of finishing their work in the core they decide to start going through a wall when their ideal target (2 close buildings) is 2 tiles behind them in said core? They are fast like an archer, but attack slow like a pekka. Their HP is only slightly higher than lvl6 giants. a simple quick fix is to reduce their housing space. Yes they will be more vunerable to spring traps, but that's what balances out the 'buff'. SC has never fixed the Valk because they are not a popular unit and people don't complain because..no one uses them. ideally I'd like to see an extra lvl for TH10 an HP buff and faster attack speed. But idk how that would unbalance the game. So as I stated a quick fix that is both useful and balanced is to reduce their housing space. IMHO.Quote:

Do you mean the only army comp that they are slightly useful in? Yes I have. My Valks are maxed. I have had sucess with GoValo, VaHo, and a couple in GoWiPe. But with all said attacks, they are easily replaced with other cheaper units. It's their housing space and high cost that has retired them for all but the most dedicated Valkers. Hogs, Golems, witches, hounds are all far more useful and can fit into many different armies. valks lack this ability of all the dark troops. Hence my idea to fix them.Quote:

reducing the housing space of valkeryies would be a BAD idea, for clans with low level players, valkeryies are used as the main defense troops, if their housing space was reduced, this would mean that low level players (ones with at lvl 3 clan castle) could have 2 valkeryies on defense. In war, this would make it extremely hard (almost impossible) for low level players to do well in war because almost all their troops would have to be used on killing the valkeries from the clan castle. IN CONCLUSION: reducing the valkeryies housing space is a BAD idea. You may be thinking- I'm a th8/9/10/11 and low level players do not affect me. You have to be considerate and think about what is best for ALL players, and not just about what affects upper town hall levels.
Maybe a spell that could make the Valks bigger ( more range + Spring trap immunity ) , so when i this dark spell range , they can do wonders ?!?!
