Sensorship in NH chat

Anyone having trouble with the chat sensorship ? I was talking to my sister this AM about blizzard coming my way and hurricane force winds hitting her area and I said Your area is making sand humps on the beach to slow the water down and SC sensored it, what gives with this ? Ive noticed they sensor weird things, last week we were talking about making dinner and she was having spagetti and meatballs and they sensored meatballs so she had to put it in as meetballs. This cracked me up but, my gosh can't sensor everything. We've created a game out of fiquring out what the ****** words are.

I'm guessing 'Hump' would be the operative word used for why it was censored lol

Also word that me & you would use everyday that have no meaning other than what we know actually are offensive in other countrys so SC has to take this into account as well

Its crazy and hump is exactly what the weather channel called it. I think SC has a potty mind 😆

There is a thread in the Neighbourhood forum where you can air your censorship grievances. It used to be a sticky, but I guess SC got tired of us bringing all these "dirty" words to everyone's attention, so they made it into an ordinary thread and it has slipped out of sight. If you search for "filter" you will probably find it. It's very funny reading, and very, very educational. You'll learn new stuff, some of which you never dreamt of until the censorship filter drew it to your attention.

Hahaha, very funny.

I find myself googling the words they censored quite often and learn all kinds of fun stuff.....and not so fun stuff. Maybe I need to get out more, but never in my wildest dreams would I have thought of pearl necklace being a filthy word ��. I want to know who is tasked with deciding which words get censored!

I think "sweetness" is another one that is completely astounding. The reason why that is censored is so obscure and too bizarre to beggar belief. No sweetness and light in Hay Day, it seems.

Just out of interest - I notice one of the forum titles is "Pro Member". How did that get past the censorship filter? I would be most upset if I were referred to as a "pro"!
