recently i've been coming across many level 9 players with unusual stats - lots of visitors, lots of likes and followers but very little shop revenue. and almost all of them sell wood panels cheaply ie. 2 for 100 coins. many people sell their stuff cheap too but never get such stats so what gives?

I think people mentioned that phenomenon before. It is called "rehashing newspaper".
These low level players advertized cheap expansion items and their advertize items kept appearing in the newspaper even these items were bought.
I hope Supercell will work on these issues.:(

really? so you're saying it can happen to anyone and not only the level 9 players? but i've never seen it on other farms nor other high level players. weird!

Also the first post made very clearly compares people with normal game play and even those on the leaderboard.
The stats don't compare with those even at number 100 on the global leaderboard. How can level 10-30 with fewer friends and few slots be at that much traffic and likes.... Other than that the ads are simply not dropped and recycled..?
