You town hall 7?
First thing to do is get over 1,500 trophies. Dark Elixir starts to flow more nicely there.
There you have 3 options.
*Target dark elixir drills every raid. Slow burn but you will get there.
*Use overwhelming armies to charge for dark elixir storage [Giants/Wizards/Healers or Dragons]
*...or lightning the dark storage - make a point of destroying the players hall if you do that method. Chances of nasty revenge are highest via this method.

Nope, but if you're th8, and hopefully a mature one, you can manage to go farther up towards 1700+. When I was th7 I really liked 1750-1850 for DE, and I'm sure the same goes for th8. You'll have to use strong armies, and overpower their bases.Quote:

Max out the Lightning spells and go to town. 3,500 is a easy work. You can get like 10k in only a few hours of this. Well atleast i was able to.. Im also a TH7 though.. So I guess I was able to get more per raid of the TH8 9s and 10s I was doing it to.
TH7 advice:
Just keep raiding as normal.
At some point you'll say "oh hey, I have about 6000 DE".
Then start looking for accessible DE raids, and Lightning people with thousands in storage.
You may need to go up in trophies.
TH8 advice:
Do the above, only with a Drill.
Get a decent army, rise to 2000, and look for de storages near the outside of the base.
