Upgrade orders

I'm getting confused on what to upgrade in what order :( does anyone have a plan on what order a th8 base should upgrade defences at

Get the new buildings and upgrade splash damage (you will be doing this for a long time, do them all at once though, because your base being vulnerable for a small time is better than a long time) and lab first, then the de drill to level 3, then then while still doing splash damage do teslas. Then archer towers, then cannons, then its up to you.

In between that process things like gold and elixir storages can be made and upgraded to, also the barbarian king should be upgraded when you get the de for it from the drill or raids (only take de if its 600 de plus if raiding, and don't bother aiming for it specifically at a hogher trophy level until upgrading to th9 with a max th8 base). Do barracks for when you are going inactive.

1. New Buildings
2. X-bows (If your TH9)
3. Splash Buildings (Mortars and Wizard Towers)
4. Clan Castle
5. Teslas
6. Everything Else

Remember to upgrade walls when you get the free gold.

My order is generally the following

1) Clan Castle
2) Build new stuff - upgrade to a respectible level [up to 1 lv under other stuff is OK]
3) Start a splash upgrade [Wizard Tower or Mortar] - when it finishes do another. But only 1 at a time or you'll cripple your defence.
4) Other upgrades alternatively, like splash.
5) Walls & Teslas.

I usually go with the following:
1:Clan castle
2: Lab
3: New buildings
4: Splash upgrades(mortar then wizards)
5: Army camps
6: Teslas
7: Cannons
8: Archer tower
9: Then the rest
