Functions of the elders

I am a leader of a clan that has recently experienced two massive kicks by two rogue elders. Myself and others think elders should not be able to promote people and should have a limited amount of people they kick in a 24hr time frame. We shouldn't have to make everyone elder to ensure that others don't get kicked. Elder should be a position that people want to have and should work to earn. Anyone agree?

Keep a better lock on who you, as a leader, promote to elder and stop handing it out to everyone who donates/asks for it. Sure elders shouldnt be allowed to promote but you need better judgment on who you promote

There should be a button to make an elder top elder. So if u go offline u can make someone top elder so they have power of kicking a regular elder . Then when they go offline they can pass it to someone else who is trusted . And so on :)

Ehh.. this is in the sticky (high elder).

Although better judgement should be made before promoting clan members; CoC is, obviously, a game made for people of all ages. So I think this is a good idea for younger aged clan leaders who don't always have the ability to read other players and their motives.
One of the only reasons I agree with this is because a few months back I was part of a clan where an elder decided to kick everyone before he left as well. It kind of sucks for the players who enjoyed being in the clan too.
Maybe restrict to like 5 kicks a day.

Just make sure you're promoting who you trust, just like raff said. Instead of SC implementing this whole other thing.

We use a voting system to promote elders. We just got played. And one was paid by a past member who we upset. Cant control that.

cooldown time has been requested a lot. also, dont give elder to people unless you trust them completely
