Diamonds from mining not added to the total diamonds that I have

This has happened on several occasions already. Everytime I do mining, I will use a large number of mining tools, extracting around 70-100 ores. Lately I noticed that even with that many ores extracted, I will only find 1-2 diamonds. Is that normal?

If this doesn't already make me seethe, I noticed that when I tap the diamond at the entrance of the mine, the diamond will fly to the top right of my screen but doesn't get added to the total diamonds that I already have. Anyone experiencing this bug too?

The diamonds in mine is not granted. You do not get diamonds for X number of shovels that you use, like how you get a rare item for each Y crop fields you harvest.

Diamonds in mine are random, there are times where you mine more than 100 ores without getting a single diamonds. But there are also times where you can get even 5 diamonds for that mining task. 3 diamonds for 3 consecutive shovels are not unheard of. :)

I am not sure about the figure but people collecting data about this told that you get 1 diamond for each 7 shovels, ON LONG TERMS. But you need to use something like 700 shovels to get 95 to 105 diamonds.

So 2 diamonds for 25 shovel worth of ores (25) does seem normal. :)

Diamonds are added to your account very shortly after you tap on them. If you have collected large number of ores it will take quite while before the ores fly into your barn. By the time the diamond appears to fly out diamonds are already added to your tally.
Pay closer attention to them next time and you'll notice how they work. :)

agree with myso, never encountered this prob. look at ur total diamond count before you mine just to be sure.
