Is there a list of exactly what Tom will or will not find for you? I am trying to decide if he is worth the diamonds, but I would like to know in advance. I did look around for previous posts/guides, but could not find anything. Thanks in advance for any help. :)
Toms only limits are that he can't find barn, silo, or land expansion materials. Other than that he can buy everything. Also, if you send him for something, he will come back with options. If you say NO THANKS, he will sleep for 2 minutes then be awake and you can send him off again. But if you buy something, you have to wait 2 hours to send him off again. ;)
He does not retrieve vouchers either.

Most of the things I consider obvious about this game continue to be questioned so I wanted to elaborate on the previous answer.
Well while Tom can't get diamonds, coins and vouchers directly he can help get a lot of those inderectly.
Diamonds > send Tom for shovels > use the shovels in the mine as you will get diamonds from mining.
Coins > send Tom for diamond rings > sell them at max price in the shop and you'll make a nice coins profit.
Vouchers > send Tom for jewellery and or bars > use those on truck orders.
Yes al of which are pretty obvious sorry about that.
