Archer queen to 10 or golems to 3?

Archer queen to 10 or golems to 3?

I am a fairly new TH9, and I have been really pushing to get my queen to 5. I am looking to be a constant 3 star attacker and I usually use GoHoWiWi, GoWiWi, and GoHoWi. I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade my currently level 5 archer queen to level 10 or golems to level 3.

Another thing I'm pondering is archers to 6 or loons to 6. Choices, choices.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Of all those options, max loons is the biggest door opener.

While loons are in lab, I would have the queen go up and by the time loons are done pop the golems in there.

Neither of these are questions. Royals are great, but max your golems, hogs, witches, and valks asap. On the elixir side, all that matter are loons and spells (and giants when you do the rest of the ones I've mentioned).

Yeah I will definitely go for Golem 3 or Loons to max. You can worry about the Queen afterwards but you need your troops to win big 3 stars.

Specially the Golem, level 4 Golem is great as th9.

I'd say golems... Just get them maxed and you will love them. Its like a 10/12 day upgrade, you should be able to grind queen in between that or at least do golems3 and queen then do loons...

AQ + Loons 6. There are a lot of research items and a lot of hero levels at TH9 anytime you can knock out 2 at a time do so.

Much better than Golem 3 and no hero upgrade.

edit - but with DE flowing like it is these days if you can do AQ and Golem do them both.

Golem 3: 500 hp, 1500 hp with a 3 golem raid
Queen 9: 3 or 4 dps, I forget which, takes same amount of hits to kill anything

Golem to 4 is by far the most important upgrade to anyone who knows how to math. You can three without loons, but not max golems.

I am a mid-Th9. For the new to mid 9, Golem 2 is enough to 3star as you can get max golem in the cc.

I agree. You can bring 2 of your own golems and a max golem in the CC. But the stronger heroes you have, the easier it'll be to 3 star.

I say AQ to 10 .. especially when max is 30 for TH9, you have a long ways to go.

I did golems to 3 early, they seem a lot tankier than lvl 2 golems and then I went back to focusing on my queen til she was 10 and the lvl 3 golems held me over, then once she was 10 put golems back in the lab to 4

Getting AQ to cloak is decently important, as that can help pull a raid out, BUT I totally agree, especially in this situation.

Troops to the max way before messing with heroes (AQ in this case) and it isn't even close.

Hogs, Loons, Hounds, Golem (in no particular order). Heroes are totally secondary to troops

I'm sure it is thinking like this that results in so many of the TH10s with sub 15 heroes that I see in both match making and war.

No, that's called impatience, huge difference.

I want to see someone 3* even a mid TH9 using TH8 level loons, golem, hogs, but heroes, say, L15+....

I doubt it happens anywhere near as the strategy that Tyler and I are suggesting

Upgrade the loons to 6 while working on the AQ - those finish and you don't have enough to put down a royal and do DE reserach upgrade giants to farm more efficiently - once you get those royals to 15 and have L6 giants if you are reasonably active it's not too much trouble to upgrade a royal and do a DE research at the same time.

I see a lot folks, myself included who work on getting the troops and defenses up as fast as they can and then all of a sudden all the builders are sleeping and your facing 20 to 30 levels of hero upgrades left at TH9 and looking at 750M in resources to max out the walls.

I tried to work on at least 1 hero nearly all the time but with war and all I'm still looking at getting 20/20 heroes up and trying to finish about 235 more lava walls. While having just Lightning 6, Gob 5, Valk 4 and all the dark spells to upgrade. My research is going to end long before my heroes and walls are done and I'll be damned if I'm sitting around with a dark lab and idle builders even though I think it would be much easier to finish my walls at 9 than work on them at 10.
