Add to this 4) the assumption that Supercell wants to maintain long term the success and profitability of Clash.
Taking all the above 4 stakeholders into consideration, the key factor for the long term success of Clash, in my opinion, is that the Casual player needs to have fun and progress. Without this, the game will die. There will be nobody to farm, and nobody to challenge the pushers or war guys.
So what is having fun and progression?
Fun and progression are not mutually exclusive. They are ultimately linked. Some casual players may aspire to trophy pushing, having wars, or just farming, while still enjoying the social interaction within the game. Whatever their aspirations, a basic need to be able to progress is absolutely essential to maintaining their interest in wanting to ‘Pick up and Play’ Clash.
Therefore the ability to progress, and the belief that progression is achievable is actually the most important factor for the casual player, as having fun, logging on, and therefore social interactment , all stems from individual progression goals.
To progress, the casual player needs to be able to find loot, and keep it.
I think that the ‘potential’ new Star Bonus (5 stars per day in Multiplayer) shows that Supercell acknowledge this, and I like the idea of the treasury.
Time will tell, we can only hope!

There is more DE now than ever before ... Dark elixir is definitely not an issue if your in crystal or above

too many people believe the forum nay-sayers and think they have to "farm" with 6 golem gowipes and the like. Without thinking, they're throwing their elixir away.

People having a moderate amount of trouble with elixir I can empathize with. People having trouble with DE are doing something wrong, DE has never been more plentiful.

Head to masters or champs. Big loot and nice win bonus. Problem solved.

The only method of getting loot into Treasury is War and Loot Cart, and I'm okay with that...

I gem boost Collectors, so with the new update it really hurts when I get hit really big all the time and to see that taken away... but if a portion of it goes into the loot cart, that'll lessen the blow...

*As long as it lessen the NET amount stolen per raid enough that I can on average earn it back in my own raids.

I wish I could spend DE on walls that's how fast I'm getting it.

Hey guys, rather than slam the OP with useless comments, instead share where and what army you are having the most luck with.


OP, I'm using a lavaloonion army (2 hounds, 28 loons, 20 minions) and with casual play and no collector boosting besides de drills I seem to be making out ok with de and even elixir (despite using 5 spells). I'm sitting around 3300-3400.

I agree the loot is great as it is now. I'm just hoping it stays this way! These people just don't know how to farm properly. I'm using 8 healers 78 archers 6 giants and I always get the full bonus.
