Hello!
I've been trying out a few base designs for pushing and having no success.
I'm currently in Champs III (3223 atm), and most times I get 3 stared by th 9's and without a doubt by th 10's when they do attack me.
I'm not maxed with my defensive buildings, got a few more to go.
So, does anyone have tips on how to make a base that will guarantee maybe even a win from time to time or a already made layout that you have already tried and worked?

try some troll bases. keep tombstones (but armed traps with cc troops)
or try using a specific layouts to attract more barchers (those who aim for cheap 50%).
or maybe you should try using more of a war bases layout than a hybrid bases layout.
My best tip... always have a powerful troop in your cc... Lava hound, or dragons.

From experience there isn't much barching going on in Champs especially after the update.
I will try some troll bases after I get a couple more defenses in with this new base to have a good comparison.

I'm in a similar position; TH9 at 3300 trophies.
However my base is usually 1 or 2 starred, very rarely 3 starred (And only by peeps who are TH10 with great troops)
Firstly, all defences and traps are maxed. My walls are about 60% purple, 30% skull, 10% black. (I'm chucking all my res into these now)
My basic layout is a central cell for TH, CC, XBs and all Teslas. Then there's a large circle around it, and walls joining the central cell with the outer wall. This creates 8 more cells around the central one. Each cell can take 4 buildings of 3x3 in size, and leave room for at least 1 2x2. This means there's at least 12 2x2 areas, so no-one can tell for sure where the bombs and Teslas are. I put giant bombs in a 2x2 that's in between 2 defences... That way Giants or hogs will hit them for sure. Spring traps are hidden near the dark silo, and the easiest path to the dark silo, because most people attack from that direction. I don't get hit by air attacks anymore. Dunno why.
Usually people get 50%, if they're half decent they'll get 2 stars, but I've managed to win a couple of defences too.
For CC I find Wizards are the best, without doubt. 6 Wizards and 6 Archers to be precise.
If you want to hunt my clan down, it's Hunstons Zoo, based in the UK. Only clan with that name too.

I looked into your base Lutzie, and really liked it. You weren't kidding about having many 2x2 areas open.
Looking at the bases Unfettered posted, the one that looks more promising is the southern teaser one, but I can be wrong. I will probably try them all!
I think we're done here, but if anyone has something else to add please do.

The guarantee part was pushing it a bit to hard huh.
