That's actually how I got roped in initially.

The first (and last and only purchase I swear!) was enough gems to get all 5 builders and really get going on my base.

... But the credit card is saved to the file and oh look. Storages are full, just a couple gems to get them onto the next upgrade.... Why should I share my loot with attackers raiding my base?

I don't feel bad about any purchase. I paid because I wanted to and enjoyed it. Now, I'd rather use it elsewhere. Maybe we were all a little disenchanted with the game anyways, and SC gave us a little push.

Yep. My gem purchases: $65.00 USD.

That was when started and only a few purchases.
However, I am not saying anything bad about gem buyers. I'd love to have spent more, to get at least 1 of my accounts to the top. Unfortunately, I can't do that. I have other expenses that are more needed to cover, than a game. Especially, when I myself, am disabled, with little income.

I have spent A LOT. Actually made a promise to never buy gems but still bought the 1600 gems XD

Probably could have gotten the iphone 6s plus if I didn't invest so much hahahaha (stuck with the air 2 for now :smirk:)

My wife and I debated for weeks if we should buy the Xbox one or the ps4. My concern was which. Her was the cost of either.

If she knew what I paid for gems..... I don't think I'd have any of the 3.

So glad I didn't spend a cent on this garbage. I was close though. So I can thank them for something I guess..
