I want to point some info. Lets say clash remains running in background. After 5 minutes or so you will get the inactivity alert message and you are disconnected from game. The problem happening with you is you are getting VG which is as if you are online. So whenever you get VG your pbt will decrease by that amount so after 8 30 minutes VG your PBT will be done :)

Do not be fooled again

When people say "they released dead bases, it's a good thing." it indeed is because SUPERCELL doesn't want you to know how many people stopped playing over the last update.

Honestly at this point the new "resource" will probably be a link to donate plasma to get more gems.

Last point, if th's weren't meant to be placed on the outside of bases why wasn't it changed in over 3 years? Changing the code to make it an additional storage would be easy so why now? Think about the bigger picture here guys.

I rarely watch You tube vids these days however I stumbled on molts recent vid and summed up the update quite nice in regards to how people are acting as of today.

Unfortunately this is type of society at least America lives in today.

Its so funny because I always said nothing will ever prevent me from gibarching your base and upgrading my village.
then I sat back and thought- OK Its not fair seeing as how I am a pretty much maxed th10.

So I logged into my Mini TH8 account.

and what do you know.

I can still gibarch/barch and steal your resources and upgrade my base.
But ok - ill take everyone elses word by saying just because Im not struggling doesn't mean everyone else is having the same success.

Check my previous comment on your case. It is because of VG. VG acts as if you are online. So 8 VG with 30 minutes each will be as if you were always logged in. Yes it is broken :)

I was never attacked in that time. I didn't have a VG at anytime in those 4 hours of being off line. The pbt should have reset after 15 minutes.

If that so it is a bug indeed. Nothing on your side could cause it. Make a thread about it in bugs & problems and/or report in game. Never happened to me but I would get really annoyed if this happens with me :rolleyes:

It is indeed bugged.

A few days ago I tried to log in after at least 8 hours of not opening the app (on ios).

I couldn't, my villagers needed a rest...:facepalm:

Not trying to hijack this thread, but my th9 in crystal had the same issue. I did not have a shield or vg. I logged off and went to town. Came back over 4 hours later and tried to log on and got the same message and was not allowed to log on. I had not been attacked during that time. If coc was running in the background, I should have been kicked off for inactivity after 5 minutes or whatever it is. There is still a problem, but it seems to be rare. I must say that not being able to play when you want to play is about as frustrating as it gets.

Or say what Anoushka said in this thread which enough to keep community connected. No one wants to go into coding details but into features & fixes details to check if they will have an impact or be negative like what came in the last update

That's what I hope Anoushka meant when she said they will preview the changes, that they will tell us what they plan to do and then gather feedback on the proposed changes before committing to releasing them.

I thought the maximum amount of consecutive VG's were 4: the one right after the shield is over and 3 more before the mercy rule kicks in :confused:
If I'm wrong then my comment just proves how complicated the PBT is to the regular player :facepalm:

Nope :)
Every defense that does not result in a Shield will trigger a 30-minute Village Guard.

This is from their helpshift page. This proves how much time has been put into this to forecast effects. As an end user all what I see is a broken system that instead of encouraging great defenses it encourages players to lose defenses & gain shields

Hopefully they increase league bonuses and give league perks while slightly reducing amount of loot able to be stolen. I think they have the means to implement league perks as guard time is tied to what league you are in currently.

It's a bug. Despite what SC says they didn't fix their pbt bug from the original update.

How about Supercell, show some balls and cancel the extended pump/mine boost which is clearly still in place to keep the masses quiet? or are 1 gem boosts the way the game was meant to be played? 😉

Its about time they faced up to their actions and sort this mess out or wave this 'cash cow' goodbye. At the moment, their lack of doing anything quickly makes me feel like an undervalued customer. Thats what we all are at the end of the day, customers being served by a business.

Would you accept a slow response to complaints from Wallmart or Ikea? I think not, so why should Supercell be any different? (Steps down from soap box...)

Have you ever seen me asking for respect? When someone respects me then he does have respect in general as I've never shown anything less than for anyone on this forum. When someone doesn't it his lack of respect to himself first then to other people second that let him do so over a game forum

How was anything in that post you quoted negative? To paraphrase what he said if you are struggling to understand his points:
1. They could give us regular updates, every day if they actually wanted to
2. We don't need anything exact, but a general comment on what they are doing would go a long way to placating disenfranchsied members of the community
3. If they let us know what they are planning we could provide feedback on how we think this would affect the game, enabling them to make a more informed decision on their updates and helping to avoid further issues within the game's community
As for your and xtalx's posts which contain purely negative comments, calling his opinions whining, flaming and parroting. You seem to be acting spitefully to try and hurt him as he has hurt you by disagreeing with SC's approach to this update.

From what I've seen of Saleh47's posts he tries to give objective feedback. The fact that you feel his feedback is negative (even when the post being attacked in this thread is clearly constructive) should show that you are suffering from some extreme confirmation bias with regard to the game/the update/SuperCell.

So, thank you Saleh47 for being one of the more clear-headed posters on this forum. It really is a shame you no longer have the game specialist tag as you seem to understand this game far better than the vast majority of posters/players I have ever seen but I can understand why you might not want that tag in relation to this game/company any more.

To fix PR issue, they should do more

I am afraid preview whats comming is fine begining but its to few too late.

What I think would help would be Q&A poste here where several most repeated question will be answered. Answered fully without using generic replies we are watching be concreate.

Second thing: They should create some more official channel to youtubers. Let them ask about the game and let developers answer. Nobody care if it will be prepated questions if response will be precise with some description.

That should happen on regular bases, not just ad hoc.
