max loons

I can't get these things to work for me! Th9 trying to practice loons and minions

how do you guys loon?
do you people use 8 or so per batch raid
or pure loons and minions?

Bro, I was doing doing 3 star loonion and 2/3 star loonion with level 4 loons and level 2 minions. You need rages or rage/heal combo. Try watching some videos, or maybe loons might not be your thing.


I use 30 loons, and rest minions. I spread loons in a curve towards the AD side. I rage and heal when necessary. Follow up behind with minions.

40 minions

Pick 1 side of the base and put a line of 28 loons followed by a line of minions. Use rage/heal as needed. Also note if CC is lureable with a loon or 2, lure first to poison. If heroes are available I wait till the end to deploy as needed. Try to get air units donated to your cc.

Air is hardest to pull off Th9+, get ready to fail and grow some white hairs :cool:

GoLaLoon is your friend. Pure loonion does not work past TH8.

GoLaLoon utilizes a kill squad of Golem, Wiz, Heroes to get some AD, AQ, and CC troops and then LaLoon cleans up the base.

If you're trying to save up DE I wouldn't use Lava Hounds or Golems; the strategies are better but use a lot more DE. Also you should try to push up leagues the bonus helps a ton if your running Loonion exclusively.

I disagree. It is harder with 2 sweepers though.


I always did 28 loons and 40 minions. 2 rage 2 heal. Probably average using 2 spells. Note the position of the sweepers. You can charge right in to one but you will need a rage. Look for bases with xbows pointed down and queen down. Lure CC if possible. Preferable don't go for bases with centered DE storage.

Remember it's the minions that get the loot. Sometimes it's necessary to drop another spell in the core on the minions to get the storage down. Extra 30k elixir is nothing for 2.5k DE. You'll kick yourself if you try to preserve spells at the risk of not getting the DE.

Save a couple minions. Can't tell you how many times everything got killed before taking out the storage. But I saved a couple minions to send in and get that DE without any other defense in range. Also helps to get 50% if you're in higher leagues for the bonus.

if you use only loonion then be prepared to use more spells. If you add 2 lavas to your loonion army making it a lavaloon will be much more stronger and you wont have to use many spells. upto you what you prefer. lavaloon will 100% any th8 with eyes closed. against th9s also its is pretty straightforward...just deploy from area of least resistance to sweepers...lock the queen and enemy cc onto the lava

1 lava, 20 loons, 1 dragons, 25 minions.

3 heals, 2 haste. 1 poison

Cc can be loons or lava.

This can farm any early - mid th9

Silver to crystal league.

Less than hr to farm and doesn't use a lot of dark.

Just to avoid base with centralized ADs. Use dragon/ heroes to kill cc after lure cc using 2 loons
