Clash of Clans Factions

I keep thinking about having a map. Have 3 Factions and make them fight over a daily Real Time Strategy World Map.

Each Day 3 factions conquer one city, getting closer to the capital until it's conquered. Have a day of rest and a new map begins.

Think Risk.

Unfortunately my idea will not work as it's basically who has the most higher level TownHall bullies win.

But it's so fun to go on the forums and rally support to invade/defend the capital. If you're the 3rd faction on the outside looking in, it's not as fun but I always liked Real Time Strategy Maps and it works well on any PvP game.

Why are you going to recommend an idea when you seem to not support it in the first place? This idea wouldn't work for clash of clans anyways.

Supercell made PvP game based on Clash Universe. Clash Royal. Check that out. Presently available for iOS in selected countries.

How would this work? Would it be like a battlefield, essentially?

Firstly thanks for your reply. I just simply can’t stop thinking about factions. But I just can’t wrap my brain how it can be done.

You’re right, let me turn my frown upside down. Let me put a positive spin on it.

World Map:

• Add an addition World Map button (ie. Goblin Maze, Loot Search, War Button)
• Think 3 fictitious continents for 3 factions (ie. Europe/Africa/Asia)
• Objective: Conquer the capital (ie. fictitious Paris, Cairo, Beijing)

Factions:

• Idea #1 Color coded Faction Red/Green/Blue(as an example) OF Clash of Clans troops

• Idea #2 Ideally you want 3 distinct Factions but that’s opening a whole new game
  
• Royale Faction (Knights, Musketeer, Prince, etc)
  
• Clash Faction (Witches, Goblins, Pekka, etc)
  
• Hay Day Faction (Chicken, Cow, Duck)

Game Play

• From your Town Hall press Attack>World Map>City of your choice
• Let’s say all cities have been taken over and only the capital is left.

	Red (Asia)	Green (Africa)	Blue (Europe)
Europe	Paris	Paris	N/A
Africa	Cairo	N/A	Cairo
Asia	N/A	Beijing	Beijing

In this rare 3 way tie, highest # of star wins at the end of the day wins.

Objective:

• It’s to win cities by stars.
• Loot situation stays the same, but the goal is collect stars.

Why play factions?

• It’s a visual storyline of the month.
• Exciting to rally support to attack/defend in the forums.
• I can't help to think that Vikings are synonymous to raiding (but I think they were just looking for land to settle).

Thanks ratnadeep :) Yes, Clash Royale got me thinking about Real Time Strategy maps. It may work better on Clash Royale than Clash of Clans.
