Introduction
Hello My name is Sam and my Ign is TooNoob I'm a near max TH 8 who has been playing on and of clash since we had that waterfall.
A couple of days ago i had the idea of creating a new spell which showed hidden traps for a small portion of time.
I never really though much this idea until I got destroyed in a raid due to traps, I thought "damn if i saw those spring traps i wouldn't have placed most of my giants there.
So here I am on the forums trying to make this spell a thing!
So, How does it work?
well its range is 22 tiles which is very big but it has to be as the traps are hidden in the first place so unless the radius is big it would be near impossible to find the right place to drop the spell.
After you drop the spell all the traps that are in the range of the spell are shown for 5 - 11 seconds (including hidden tesla's)
Attack Strategies
Attacking with the visibility spell would be pretty easy.
Here is an example of a basic strategy using this spell
1. drop spell on base
2. see the bombs
3. either avoid or set them of with 1 troop
4. place troops and fight the battle
Unlocks And Upgrades
hidden traps traps really only start to take effect by TH7 or 8 when your introduced to hidden tesla's and Big Bombs have big upgrades. So i would say you get lvl 1 visibility spell at TH 7 with a lvl 5 lab, then lvl 2 - 3 at TH 8 with a lvl 6 lab, at TH9 with a lvl 7 lab you get lvl 4 visibility spell and the final lvl of visibility lvl 5 is TH10 lab 8.
the time of visibility will start at 5 and go up by 2s every upgrade
the cost is 100 de which goes up by 30 each upgrade

Extra Information
The new spell is a dark spell as there is still room for more spells there.
Theirs not much defense too it but i have thought of 1 called a spell ward which is fueled by 50 Dark elixir per 2 days just in case you find the spell OP (over powered)
the ward work by hiding the traps in its range 5 tiles, it would have 3 upgrades lvl 1 th 7, lvl 2 th 8 and lvl 3 th9 the range goes up by 2 per upgrade.
only 2 would be available from th 7 up to 11.
Conclusion
In conclusion i think this would be a very effective spell and even if it isnt created it is still a cool concept thank you for your time!!.
