TH8 vs TH10 BROKEN Match Making right after matching against a TH11

Matchmaking is definitely screwy since th 11. I was visiting a clan and fell asleep and got stuck in their war. Total mismatch. Luckily in our favor :p.

It was a 10v10. I'm th 11. Next highest was max th8. Then a few more close to max th 8 and at the bottom three were decently upgraded th 7s.

We got matched with a clan where the highest guy was about halfway through th 8. The bottom half of their clan were very weak th7s and 6s. I'd have loved to seen the reaction on the other side when the match was set.

You're complaining over 1 th10? Lol...
If it was a crushing mismatch, example: If your highest guy was lvl75 rest of your clan was well under and most of your opposition was over 80.. That is a mismatch. Or if these guys your warring with had another 4 th10s i could understand your complaint because you would definitely lose.
Now your just sooking, you can still win.

So you are saying that its alright for the TH8 to attack a true TH10 and the same way around?

Showing only a part of the map which shows ONE hall level imbalance tells us nothing about the match. You might have an offensive advantage on 24 of 25 players for all we know. You don't "match" the hall across from you in war. When will people stop describing it that way?

Others have posted eagle weight at much higher amounts, higher than infernos.

SC's war matching algorithm need an update - they can't simply treat everyone's war weight as equal, because the advantage from top bases has far more impact to the war result than lower bases advantage. For example, clan A has 10 th9 and 10 th3, clan B has 20 th7. They may have similar total war weight but clan B has no chance to win the war.

The solution may be more complex then I'm about to suggest, but at TH11, they could do something like total the number of EA and GW per clan and if there's a difference, apply a factor to the team with the GW and EA that boosts their weight, thereby increasing the chance that the match doesn't go through.

Or they could just raise the weights, but the method above corrects for big differences in the top players of a clan....

After further consideration, they could do this at all TH levels, but then also adjust each one by a factor that ramps up the higher the TH level is....

I don’t think I want sc to try to fix anything… look at how they “fixed” the game with the last update. Just think what they could do to clan wars… The war search could cost 10 gems lol
