So here's the problem with that. If you are good at defending your loot you will spread out your storages. At TH9 you have 4 sets of storages. That's why storages in the middle are no good, they require 50-60% damage but yield 100% of the resources. People are getting desperate. They launch an all out attack on one set of your juicy storages and hop out with a loss and 100k Gold, 100k Elixir. Spreading out your storages is still the best option at TH9 but you will still lose quite a bit of loot due to people only going for the one set of storages over and over and over.

You have 9 storages, 30% of that is about 2-3 storages. I'm a TH11, each storages will offer about 100k resource when I'm holding enough to offer full bounty. Meaning even with less than 30% damage you would theoretically lose 1-2 storages each raid, which means you lose 100k - 200k in resources every time even when someone fails their attacks.
Why don't you show us your defense logs to show us how well you protect your loot so that 29% damage isn't enough to take any loot from you.

If an attacker has complete control of his troops, that might be possible. But to target a single storage, you still have to funnel troops which means you have to take out peripheral bldgs to keep the troops from just circling the base.

If it were just a numbers game, 25% might sound reasonable. But that's just not how things work.

Here's the problem with the current system. If active players are only attacking each other then 50% of the total player base is going to be on the losing end of the game.

I bounce between Crystal 1 and Master 3. I'm a TH11 and usually have about 500K each for elixir and gold available for looting.

Except you are forgetting that most layouts have 4 sides so only a 25% of your buildings can be on all sides. Also don't forget goblins just target loot. once the collectors on one side are gone a jump spell will usually get them into a storage compartment

I would love for us to be able to track the total amount of loot stolen from our bases.

My EE is 492 million and GG is 462 million. Have I lost a similar amount due to raids on my base? No way. Not even close.

I bet most active people, prior to the Super Farming Nerf update were gaining much more than they were losing too.

The abandoned bases put so much loot into the economy, that we actives didn't stress when we would get hit with a 3 star raid.

However, now all the non Active bases are pulled from the queues after a couple of days, and we are now forced to devour each other for a zero sum gain. Yes some people are still successfully making in game progress, but they are either spending more time and or gems to do it.

The increase in commitment to progress is the main source of frustration, in my opinion.

simple logic fails the OP.. I am sure he reached th11 by never keeping TH out & now since he is max he comes on high horse... good for yo OP... yes yes we want all thing easy & cosy... thank you for you query...

being a max guy should'nt he be a real chief & head for higher leagues, why is he sitting in leagues where he feels secure of lesser attacks... should'nt he practice what he preaches ?
