Is the delay of the "end game" now a problem for clash?,

That's because too many people don't read through the thread before posting.

For me, I slowed my progress considerably as soon as I heard that TH 11 was coming. As a nearly maxed TH 9, the end game was in sight and now that target was moved. I really don't want to play this game forever but maybe some people do. Putting aside all the problems with the last update, I'm tiring from this game after 1.5 years. I don't think I can stick it out long enough to max TH 11. They'd probably have a TH 12 by that time anyway.

if lab research is ignored and the player is rushing with 5 builders busy continuously they could reach a max building th9 in 9.5 months with gems for only the extra huts. This would ignore heroes and lab research.

The thread is a bit of a train wreck ...

As for the abuse, I appreciate the few of you that posted nice things, but it's all good. Anyone who's checked my history knows I've dished out my share of snarky comments. Posts that bother me more is when I know I deserved rebuke. This for some reason I just found more amusing...

It's probably right. I used $30, plus all the bush and quest gems as well. I imagine that shaves a bit off.

The longest path is the Warden. I will have mine done without gemming in late March. About 3 1/2 months. I was a maxed 10 before the upgrade, I'll be a maxed 11 in March. The only gemming I've done has been the 1 gem boosts. You do the math.

I looked at town hall 10 as the "end game" of clash. This is where you have all the attack units and all the defense units, and you start to pay much more attention to base design, leveling heroes, etc. Plus it's the point where you can start truly defending yourself, where before you know you can be rolled over at any time no matter what.

Before th11, an active player could get to this th10 "end game" in about six months without being notably rushed. But now, th10 is the new th9. The end game experience doesn't start until th11. I think this may end up being a problem for clash. 2 years is a long time to play as an underling.

Not really true I think. Th10 has so many upgrades, more than any other th including 11. Since the update I have Xbow maxed, cannon maxed, archer tower at 11, and wizard tower at 8. Would reckon I'll have everything done in another month or so. Th10 takes easily minimum 6 months to finish. Th11 maybe 2-3 not counting warden.
