This would be a HUGE change that would change army compositions if it's true, so I would like to see it in action.

Don't know if this is related, but I have noticed archer towers and wizard towers will skip Giants and target healers quite often recently.
That's exactly what I mean, but no I don't have any recording of it happening. It happened to me multiple times a week ago or so, driving me insane during a raiding session. But I have been under a 7 day shield waiting for my town hall to upgrade so I haven't raided in a few days.
Edit: It seemed to happen after the towers managed to kill a Giant, they wouldn't pick a new Giant but would pick a healer to take out.
I went through my replays and I never saw an xbow switch to a wizard from a giant. I never saw an xbow target a troop farther away instead of a close by troop. I only looked at three attacks but I saw nothing unusual.
I didn't use golems in those attacks, just Giants.
As I said, I lost some of my proof when the update wiped out our war log.
My one attack video so far that shows this has the xbow stop firing on my BK when I used his Iron Fist. It then mowed down my wizards instead. I thought the hiding ability was only for the AQ?
I shot a video with my phone. It is too large to upload here. Is there an alternative other than youtube for me to share?
LOL
Of course in the middle of a raid an xbow is far more likely to target a wizard than a tank, you generally have more wizards, so odds are it will be closer. Xbows switch targets all the time when what they are firing out steps out of range. It has the largest range, consequently it has biggest circumference out of any defense. It is basic geometry that the xbow WILL switch targets more frequently than the cannon or the archer tower, the "switching surface" is larger.
In simpler language, there are more places on the map where a troop can step in and out of range of the xbow than an archer tower or cannon.
