what's the new farming range and farming strategy for a th9?

Just got back in the game in time for the update that changed everything. I now have no clue where to farm and what strategy to use.

Currently, I am a th9 who is trying to focus on saving resources for walls, because oddly enough I think that is the best thing to do now. It is a constant gold sink that will make my base less appealing to attack, and saving gold for other resources only leads to raids against my base that result in me losing at minimum 300k of each resource. Once my walls are scary enough to keep people away, then I'll start focusing on my other upgrades.

My current farming range is between 2300-2500 and my current army is 20 giants, 4 healers, 4 wallbreakers, 20 barbarians and 36 archers. Spells include 2 Healing Spells, 2 Rage Spells and 1 poison spell.

Currently, I'm making more gold from my mines and pumps than I am from raiding. The bases I find are either so far out of my league you'd think the matchmaking system is broken (th10s near maxed and even some th11s) or they have so little loot available that I'd actually be losing resources trying to get it.
