Badge for highest donator and tenure

Having some type of badge to be "worn" for having the previous season's highest donations would help aid in increasing donations. It would also create a fun atmosphere for in clan competition. Also, I would find it beneficial if I could view tenure of my fellow clan members. This would help in making the decision for promotions. You could make some sort of in clan rank system; like stripes or private, sergeant et cetera. I understand that you don't want the in clan screen to be full of too many bells and whistles so something simple would be fine. Let me know what you all think :) __Ender__ of Golden Knights.

Well it would help u decide who to promote. In my clan, if they don't donate anything but are friendly on chat, they still won't be elder

I agree completely. And that is why we don't rely only upon that factor alone. In our clan we base promotions off of many requirements. First, we promote off of length of time in clan combined with total donations per week. Also, staying active is key. In our clan that means two things, the obvious is donations, and the less obvious is staying in communication via chat. Most of our elders must be present and voice opinions on promoting. Elder status must be maintained too. It is easy to lose track of how long someone has been with us unless i get out the pen and paper. That is too much work ;)

Why not promote them all after a one or two week trial and demote the people who don't donate or chat enough?

Dahimi's right, but since this isn't really about how you run your clan, I like your idea. Maybe the level badge in clan menu could turn red for top donator.

Problem with this is that if you leave and come back, it resets your count. It's not really a true measure.

In essence that is what we do. Taking into consideration the aforementioned requirements.

Then it just shouldn't reset, although that is suggested frequently and hasn't been implemented yet. I don't see why they don't just do a running count from when you first joined the clan. There is no point in it ever resetting. With that, people would have donation wars to get the badge, and if you stop donating you don't get to keep it for 2 weeks.
