Final thoughts

Well, three weeks after coming back to CoC after leaving for a year and...nothing has changed. It hasn't got better, the enjoyment of gameplay seems to have gone backwards and the weariness of grinding (it's milking now!) or warring against mis-matched teams has remained.
Cue lots of 'adapt or quit' comments, no doubt, or 'quit and leave collectors outside blah blah', all expected, and a flavour of everything wrong with some people on this, frankly depressed forum. Many forum contributors are more considerate, so thanks to you all.
It was interesting to pop back to the game, and a reminder of why I stopped playing last year.
Have fun, feel free to loot all that I leave behind in my advanced TH10 base, because, it isn't real and I just don't care. I even leave behind a load of gems acquired through achievements and small bushes. I just don't care about spending them.

Well done Supercell. The game was a lot of fun when I started (I have four different Christmas trees), but it is now not good. You did this (and I won't be getting your new game either, as you will do the same there).
