I'd say you should upgrade your WTs to max next.

Splash damage always gets priority- Wizard Towers and Mortars first.

Just my opinion.

ADs are critical for th8s in war especially :)

This is true for th8 and less for th9. At th10 point defences are more important IMO. Anyway leave your canons and archer towers last.

However if you war a lot as a th8, do your air defences to lev 6 asap.
