Too much loot offer

I'm amazed at how people cannot see the ridiculousness in their own words. You literally posted that you want more loot available to you when you attack, but don't wish to offer it when others attack. So basically a game geared specifically to you, where you get max benefits on attack, and offer minimal to others on defense.


whether you like the update or not, you have to see the insanity in what you're asking for..

Never asked for a raid offer increase though? Never complained about the lack of loot either. Just wondering why the loot offer was so high despite me having so little loot in my storages. I thought they had increased the percentage raidable. Jeez the hostility in clash forums is just crazy....

For a while, I've believed that the loot cap and the "price" for walls are strongly connected.. :-)

(walls give you a possibility to dump resources that your are not currently interested in. i.e. there is absolutely no reason to offer full loot on all 3 resources at any point in the game.)

Although you may have a point for him being greedy, you may have to also think about what you posted.

"Max benefit and minimal loses."

This is what everyone is going for. So 'insanity' is nowhere under it.

You mean farming i.e. a non-zero sum version of the game pre-update?

Nope. I never complained about wanting more loot mate. Just wondering if the percentage loot raid-able was increased.

welcome to new th hell in the new era. Previously it was tough being a new th, but now it's just miserable. You'll get torn apart by bigger guys easily, but what you are offered to attack will be way out of your reach of not worth wasting your time. Progression will be slow and some days you'll hemorrhage more loot than you can gain back. You can't save for an upgrade and you need to spend all you're loot before logging off. Progression will stall. Such a fun way to play isn't it!

After asking myself the same questions as OP, I decided to do a little research and looked on Important: Changes To The Loot System for answers and hope my findings will help you guys out as well.

As a TH 9 you will loose 12% of your total gold/elixir and 5% of your DE with a cap of 350k gold/elixir and 2.5k DE. With this information in mind let's do a bit of math.

By holding 1.8 milion gold/elixir in all your storages plus TH you will offer 12% to attackers, meaning 216k gold/elixir. Since starting with TH 7 there is a increase of cap by 50k gold/elixir for each TH level, so add another 150k gold/elixir to the previous 216k gold/elixir, but since we are over the cap the system sets the max to 350k gold/elixir.

To this amount add another 50% of the amount all your mines/collectors have at the time of the attack with a cap of 600k gold/elixir and there you get the more than 350k gold you offer to attackers.

As for DE you offer a 5% of the amount your TH and DE storage can hold combined and have a cap at a max of 2.5k. If let's say you sit on 35k DE then the system makes you offer 1750 DE to attackers if they manage to completely destroy your TH and DE storage. To this amount add another 75% of the amount add the two drills hold at the time of the attack.

Once you hit 50k DE in your storage you will offer the full 2.5k to attackers from TH and DE storage plus the 50% of the amount they can pick off your collectors.

Hope this makes sense now.

Edit: Forgot to add a flat 5% of loot that can be taken out of your CC that stores your spoils of war, no matter of TH level you are if there's a difference between you and of the attacker.

Edit #2: The wiki (link) say the lootable percent for TH 9 for gold/elixir is 14%, but left it at 12% cos that what Marika said in her Important: Changes To The Loot System post.

Either way you will still offer that 350k gold/elixir when holding 1.8 mil gold/elixir.

you can still buy resources using gems to make up for any losses
