Clash Update: End of an Era or Beginning of a Rebellion?

Well, as I sit on my couch drinking my tea I can only imagine what Supercell's reaction will be when they find the spanner in the works. Let's face it, Clash is slipping. There's no doubt about it. With all the fancy new "improvements" here and there, no one seems to be enjoying it. People are quitting, denying the facts and even boycotting the whole franchise. Sure, we can rant about it and we are. It seems like this is the only thing we're doing on this whole page. I only see very few actual points, facts and reasons. Come on guys, Super Cell's not gonna respond to the ♥♥♥♥ 90% of us are spewing out. If we want the guys behind the screen to pull their heads outta their ♥♥♥' then we need to show them what can be improved and how. Sure, you can quit but let's be honest. You don't want to. You want to improve the game, not just for you but for whole community. We all do, right? And we can do that if we do our research and actually see what's wrong! We're the ones buying the gems, running the clans, donating the troops. We're the players, without us what would SuperCell be? We can turn the tables if we fight them with logic. Hell, if we keep ranting like a bunch of barbaric apes it will only take longer. Let's think about this huh?

(That's my new catchphrase for this whole ordeal, feel free to use it :D)

So, what's your opinion? Keep throwing our anger at them or try find the actual core of the problem and solve it!

My opinion used to be: provide actual feedback and suggestions

After a month of all actual feedback and suggestions being ignored, my opinion is: rage at them or leave.

You have some good points. I agree, while we are not shareholders, we are all stakeholders. However, we are end-users. We can provide feedback, but I'm sure it is not our job to provide solutions. I think that is the developers job. If we see no feedback, all we can really do is to continue to provide feedback. I believe this is what has been happening the last 3 weeks or so: continual feedback due to lack of resolution.

This is the end of Clash of Clans and rebellion of trophy pushers, warrers and farmers worldwide.

What if all youtubers decide NOT to fall for the bait to be a PR for them.

Imagine SC says :-

Mr youtuber, you have the golden opportunity to witness no one has, and we will give you opportunity to make a video exclusively for your channel.

There are many polite, well thought out posts on the 'post your feedback' thread and they have all been ignored.

Im not buying gems and i, and my clan participated in the Jan 1st boycott.
Id happily boycott the game again

People act like hey have some big problem with the update but in reality they are complaining about loot and loot accumulation,usually the former. Defensive bonus is always an option, or reducing the amount that can be taken from storages while increasing the amount the attacker gains. Or both.

There was a really nice thread a while back that basically compiled all the player grievances, and made a list of all the problems people are experiencing right now. And thus is on top of all the constructive threads, which to be fair do get flooded down by the "un-constructive" complaint threads. But still, considering that thread went nowhere. What else is there do besides whine and make sure we're loud enough to be heard.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather buy cash for Mobile Strike than by gems but we need to show that we're a sensible community who want to change something in the easiest way possible, don't you think?

I'm all for sensible continual feedback, but I still believe it is not our job to provide solutions.

After writing to them politely to let them know of a village guard glitch that saw my base get attacked while on village guard and having them pretty much say i was either lying or an idiot, i think we are dealing with a bunch of neanderthal males who are too pig headed to admit they screwed up and therefor have no intention of changing anything

The clans are marching 'gainst the law, bagpipers play the tunes of war. Death or glory I will find, rebellion on my mind.
