If he puts all his loot in the middle, he is likely to lose all available loot. True, he would get a shield, but if the game requires that you plan to loose all available loot in one defend rather than even more loot over multiple defends, then I'm sorry but the game is very broken at that point, and is a very sorry state.

Indeed the system is broken and it requires you to lose all available loot in 1 defense atm. Not sure how the OP lose 300k-500k each for 10x w/o getting 30% shield, I assume he had most of his storages outside/too close to each other.

all you have to do is spread your village out. Packed bases are no good unless at high levels.

So many players are saying they are losing 300k 300k 300k over and over multiple times per night. Where did you get all that loot to lose? How are you losing it without being 30%? Does your base look like mine or something? I have 4 storages outside my walls and I don't lose that much with 3 mil gold in storages.
