Eliminate hoppers - Clash of Hoppers

Hi all,
There is a frustrating part of the game when recruiting for the clan.....Hoppers. Take your troops and leave the clan.
Some possible solutions to limit hoppers:

• Gem penalty for multiple clan hopping
• troop penalty to clan
• timeout from joining another clan

Right now Clash of Clans could almost be renamed as Clash of Hoppers. So to help improve the game can Clashers help supercell with some ideas to rectify this problem

I don't think there should be a gem penalty. Maybe a time-out, but that wouldn't stop people from hopping.

I would maybe do a thing where you can only join a clan or 2 every week. After that you have to spend gems to join clans once you go over the weekly 2. This way players would be less inclined to hop as much and just pick a clan to stay in permanently

I don't know.. I wouldn't like the option of paying gems to join a clan.

You wouldn't have too. Everyone can have 2 or 3 free joins a week and after that they have to pay gems. No one needs to be switching clans more then 3 times a week anyway.

But personally I'd rather not have any change implemented. There's an invite only button and clan requirements for a reason. Just select the right people and you don't have to worry about hoppers. I'm just throwing out a suggestion in case change is made.

A gem penalty/timeout wouldn't stop hoppers. I suggest in a player in info screen it would show how long they were in their last clan.(this could also be a new achievement)

Yes even i feel that gem penalty should be given to a guy who hops clans for like 10 of them per week or something.There should be some dedication or ethics right????

Close your clan, limit the trophy range or set to invite only and just accept the guys who introduce themselves. So you won't have much hoppers.

btw it sometimes can take some time until you can find a good clan. So hoppers for the win.

But then people like Brandon who hop clans to donate and level up can no longer do that... Leave it as it is

Love the idea, enough said, just maybe say a time limit of about 2 weeks
