what was the timeline when low level wall elixir upgrades were rolled back?

Hoping someone can shed some light or point me to a past thread. I could not find one but my searching skills are poor.

My question is how long did it take to revert after low level walls were given elixir upgrade capability? I believe it was in late 2014. I can't remember what exactly happened. I do remember there were a lot of complaints about elix drying up.

my interest is obvious, I want to see what the precedent is for SC reactions and response times to negative update feedback?

Elixir for walls was introduced September 16, 2014 and was adjusted so that it was only available starting at level 9 walls on December 11, 2014. So about three months.

If OP is thinking that it takes about three months for SC to recognize a problem and fix it...

Ah yes... I remember it well... my missus spending lix on walls and urging me to. Me saying... nah, I've got lab stuff to do instead... she did all her walls... then just as I was ready to begin the lix on walls... they changed it! Nooooooo!

Just like they brought in Dex Drills for TH7 AFTER I already maxed my king at TH7 without that help. Noooooooo!

Fresh TH7 ready to defend against giant healer.... nerf airbombs so they don't get healers. Nooooooooo!

Then, just as hit TH9 read to smash all those TH8s... changed the game to show me more of my own TH... a fresh TH9 is still a TH8 for a long time and cannot do jack against a TH9. Nooooooooo!

How long before the first sweeper came in after Laloon dominated so much?

How long for 2nd sweeper when it was seen one sweeper at TH9 was useless?

Oh yeah... OP... three months because they waited for the update which was coming anyway. Updates to fix updates outside of those updates are usually sooner than 3 months.

Not quite. There was an in between update, but lix wall fix wasn't implemented during that update. The forum was in an uproar pre-update as well, and complaints fell on deaf ears as well.

It would be funny if everyone kept complaining about elixir in the economy and Supercell responded by taking away elixir walls.

lol. That would still not change the problem other than more people complaining because people are already having a hard time getting elixir for attacks and don't have the elixir to dump it into walls.
