That's my thought on this :D

The YouTubers went out in full force to peddle the new update as being awesome. Exactly as SC wanted them to do to their subscribing sheep. They continued to peddle the update. But they've sensed that the winds of dissatisfaction are not changing, so they are trying to change to prevent being blown away by the winds.

LoL Galadon even asked what other games he could make vids about :D. Hes trying to find a new source of revenue. Make more vids to gather more sheep, from different games. But these YouTubers are completely out of touch with most players. Gemming to max their bases, gemming troops, gemming everything just for a few random attacks. Gems purchased from the revenue due to subscriptions to their channels.
