If Supercell has failed at anything, it's communication. They released the biggest update for Clash, possibly ever, during a holiday and have yet to respond to any of the thousands of player complaints.
We receive snarky in-game responses when we ask about the current update, and we have to hope that YouTubers give us any info they find out about fixing this broken game. And it is in fact a broken game right now.
If this game does not get changed in the next 30 days, it will never recover to what it had become, that's not an opinion, that's a fact.
That itself is why Supercell is deathly afraid to publicly respond. They know if they don't say the right thing that there will be an even bigger exodus from this game.
Three of my four clans have disbanded, and the other one is a ghost town. This isn't a bunch of forum posters causing some fake uproar, this game is on life support right now because farming has grinded to a halt.
The backbone of this game is in shambles, somehow Supercell didn't realize how important farmers were to the game's economy, and they killed their own game for the time being.
I can't imagine they're dumb enough to keep it this way, but I also wouldn't have expected a company worth billions to release such a disaster of an update either, so I'll believe it when I see it.
They know they can't just revert the changes or they'll lose respect and faith in their playerbase, so they're most likely working on ways to increase loot by injecting much larger bonuses for wins, possibly bonuses for defense wins (which should be in place already) and by increasing how much loot collectors generate.
It won't be an update that comes all at once, but if they have a single intelligent person working on this game, that person is telling them this right now: Fix this broken economy, or you can say goodbye to 80% of your players.

He said something big is coming tomorrow. Said it would be mind blowing.... Yes he said mind blowing. Everyone assumed it was about clash of clans of course, the forums were full of this update speculation, all excited. Then it turns out it was about some ridiculously stupid game SC created. Like, Oh boy a new game from a company that just completely disappeared from their customers who are having issues with t their current game. It was just cheesy and I'm sure he regrets doing it, but still....Quote:
