Golem lvl 5 or Lava lvl 3?

I have enough DE to do either golems to lvl 5 or lava hound to lv 3. I do like Lavaloon but have just upgraded to th10 and don't have my army camps all done yet.

Golem 5. It's more consistent than lava. After update, in my opinion, is the best choice!

Golem 5. As much as I love lavaloon and went hound 3 first myself, golem 5 allows you to mass golem th10s for 2 stars consistently. Not only that, it'll see much more use outside war as well.

It really depends on a few things...

Were you fully maxed when you moved to TH10? What are your war matchups like? If you're still facing TH9 and you're comfortable with lavaloon you should upgrade the hound. You can still receive a max golem in the cc, meaning every troop in war will be maxed. You should crush any TH9 and a 2 star is usually pretty easy against a new TH10.

If you are already partially through TH10 after maxing TH9 you should upgrade the golem. Golems are more useful than hounds at getting 2 stars against TH10. They are also more useful for farming.

I upgraded hounds first because I mainly use air attacks in war. But if that's not the case golem wins every time.

If you use lavaloon, lvl 3 lava.
If you use GoWiWi or GoWiPe, lvl 5 golems.
