War has become a snooze fest at th9

I had to do war style attack every 1/1.5 hours, 4 attacks per cycle, very hard to find th9 that I can attack with decent trophies and always lose 30+ cups to master league players.... not many th9s in champ and above looks like, all th10,11.... but still champ3 is good place to stay as my loot is almost always full thanks to bonus and I can 2 star any th9 with sleeping heros. but it is time consuming and stressful, I have 2 other th8 accs in silver 2/3 and farming is so much more fun.

The changes are their way of allowing hero upgrades during war.... It is now a viable option to have a hero sleeping while you war and still be able to get in 3 star attacks.

i'm a th9 that's just about wrapped up with lab upgrades. I have all lvl 9 walls and about 20 lvl 10 walls. My heroes are 15/17 respectively. After the update, I've been able to get loot up in champs using war comps but I have to pick up the iPad about once every two hours throughout the day to keep that up. Lately we have been wiping all th9 opponents with attacks left over. This has become consistent. It's boring. The only answer I've seen from most people is...go to th10. For me though, that's another 4-6 months out due to needing to max my heroes and walls. Or I guess I could spend $300 for the privilege of playing 'balanced' wars. Rushing is never a choice for me and spending that much money on a video game is a terrible financial decision.

so I'm left with the choice of allowing this game to remain an instrusion in my life for another 6 months, or halting progress and settling for boring guaranteed wipe wars one after another. Lame. anyway supercell, thanks for the previous two years. I'm out in the next two weeks if an update or a major announcement from supercell isn't given.

It sounds like you are in the wrong clan. You want to be in a clan with fewer good players so that you can shine more brightly. That is perfectly fine and if that is what you need to be happy then that is a change you should make. Some players would like coasting through wars because the other clan members can do all the work but that doesn't work for you. Contrary to popular belief, being in the "best" clan that wins the most is not always a good thing.

Alternatively you could find a clan with more TH10's so you can learn to war against TH10's. If TH9's are too easy then try the next level of opponent (you don't have to go up yourself to attack TH10's).

Yeah (chest out)... I 3 star TH9s with just Super Queen.... when she is upgrading at that! So yeah... wars are boring for me. Bored bored bored. Yawns. So very boring. No clans are a challenge. Just started 3 starting with 220 barbs and my heroes... when both heroes are upgrading too!

Thought I'd try all gobs. Yup, 3 stars. So easy. TH9 is a joke now with extra spells and 30 seconds.

Yeah.... like the other day... I'm so good you know, did I tell you that? Yeah, anyway.... so as I was saying... I thought I' add a challenge to my 3 starring war ways... I made 14 healers and 2 witches. Put 5 healers on each hero and 4 on the witches. Yup, 3 star. Only took a minutes 26 seconds too.

And people wonder why the forums are horrible now smh

im also a firm believer in alot of wars are decided before they even start.
this also contributes to the "boredom" factor now that th9 is easier for attacking.

proper base / troop / hero upgrade order play a huge role in matchups.

who do you want to be:

the guy with th9 max farming defense, th 8 troops still, and lvl 10 heros who can only gowipe for 2 (lets all face it, we get matched with clans like that more often than not), or the th10 with pink walls and lvl 15 heros, or the guy that goes to war with 1 hero down and gets 0 or 1 stars.. you get the idea

or the guy who plans for war properly, has lvl 20+ heros and max troops before he even thinks about maxing th9 let alone hitting the button for th10

a strict upgrade / war / path policy puts you at a big advantage before the first attack goes off.
