Personal break due to too long without shield

Is this a bug?
I get a pop-up saying:

Personal Break
Villagers need a short break due to being too long without Shield

How stupid is that? Because my base is not attractive enough to be raided or maybe my base is too strong to be raided I go without shield for a certain time. Why do I have to go on a break because nobody wants to attack me? Makes no sense at all. I wanted to go online to donate my clan mates.

This needs reviewing. Because it is plain stupid

It also does not say how long I have to be on a break.

Hi I hope you understand the personal break timer(PBT) although it's not so great;)

Every player starts off with 4 hours of playing time until they’re forced onto a 6-minute “Personal Break” (PB), to give other players a chance to attack them. But what happens after that? And when does your PB timer reset?

Firstly:
- Getting any Shield resets your PB timer
- Staying offline 15 minutes (without a Village Guard/Shield) will reset the PB timer
- Buying a 2-hour Village Guard (10 gems) will add 2 hours to your PB timer
- Village Guard time is always considered online (play) time -- regardless of whether you're actually in the game or doing something else

Otherwise, the following 3-stage rule applies:

1. After 4 hours of playtime, a player is given a 6-minute PB. During this offline period, if a player
a) does not get attacked, or
b) is attacked but does not get a Shield
they’ll receive another 30 minutes of playing time (and a Village Guard).

2. When those 30 minutes run out, the player player gets kicked out for another 6-minute PB.
Like Stage 1, if during this period the player
a) does not get attacked, or
b) is attacked but does not get a Shield
they’ll receive another 30 minutes of playing time (and a Village Guard).

3. When that second period of 30 minutes runs out, the player player gets kicked out for a third and final 6-minute PB.
If during this period the player
a) does not get attacked, or
b) is attacked but does not get a Shield
they receive a league-based Village Guard (30min to 4hrs) and the PB timer is fully reset.

It is possible that there will be tweaks to the update soon and that there will be some changes.

The fact that you need to read all this ♥♥♥♥ in order to understand it is proof enough that the whole PBT is a gooched up way to do things. They'll never admit it and the tea-drinking faithful followers will flame anyone who criticizes it but there is no doubting its an idiotic thing to anyone who looks at it objectively. #FAIL

If you have suggestions then leave it in the appropriate place. Also personal breaks last for 6 minutes.

Got kicked for being online too long but then if no one attacks for 6 minutes. I should be allowed and the pbt is extended by 30 minutes right? Ok it did let me get into game after 6 minutes but no village guard at all. And didnt let me attack either. So i closed game and tried opening again and that msg came up again saying online for too long is this some sort of joke?

I do not have a suggestion - my post is a criticism of the PBT. Where in my posting did you think I had some suggestion. Hello???

You keep responding to me as if I have some confusion or misunderstanding about something. I'm not asking for your help in understanding the gooched up mess so you need not tell me that the PBT is 6 minutes long - I DID NOT ASK!! We're full well capable of understanding it and thinking it is a stupid mess - at the same time.

If it is criticism without a way to improve it...then it isn't very constructive. And if it were it'd belong in general.

"It also does not say how long I have to be on a break." Is indirectly asking how long the PBT is.

I logged off my game at 11:45 pm last night. I logged back on at 3:25 pm today to collect my loot from my mines, drills and pumps. I did not get attacked between those hours. I did not attack anyone. I did not get online. When I did try to go online, I got that message. I didn't play for almost 15 hours and was told I had to wait. This is the dumbest thing ever. It needs to be addressed and fixed.

I do not need your permission to post a related reply to the OP - constructive or otherwise ;) Your opinion is that it isn't related. Opinions are like arm pits. Everyone has a couple and they usually always stink.

I have been there a few times, twice needing to donate to my war clan. Can I help it that nobody attacked me? NO! Could I help it that if they did attack me, I successfully defended my loot and they didn't get any? NO! So why the flying frog legs would you penalize me for being strategic? This personal break business is beyond stupid. I understood the reasons for it as it was before. As it is now, it's just utter nonsense.
