The way Support is working right now they need that receipt that defines the owner of the account, and Support alone will decide what to do.
I'm not debating it's fair or unfair, this system has flaws as well. You just happen to be in a case where you cannot benefit help Support anymore and I'm sorry you are stuck now.
There are mistakes that can be undone, this one is unfortunately not.
