Europe is currently in the process of removing so called free to play games like all of yours unless they are ACTUALLY free. What does this mean? No more forcing people to buy gems to progress you aren't allowed to have ANY way for players to spend REAL money I'm the game or else it will be removed from the EU app store since it is labelled FREE to play you should make it that way not free to play, pay to enjoy
the game is still free to play, it's the user's choice to buy in-games items or not. you can reach max level by playing the game with time or with gems.

No, they won't be removed from the store. The "free"label will be removed from the store for games with in-app purchases. So the game will be there, although it won't be marked as free to play.

It's a company, they are here to make money. We may not like their latest cash grab, but they aren't "forcing" me to do/buy anything.

Let's face it: there's little difference from CoC and a slot machine.
Knowing that some people spent over 3.000€ on this (which they are perfectly entitled to, of course) worries me much because this game is a bottomless well and that money would probably be better spent elsewhere.
I think monthly fee games were and still are much better, you are not enticed to waste outrageous amounts.
This game has nowhere the depth of, e. g. World of Warcraft, and only costs a fraction to develop.
Hell, it's nowhere close the enjoyement and interest of the first MMORPG developed 14 years ago, Ultima Online.
I'm a World of Tanks player and quite often spend 200€ a month because I can, but still with the feeling of being ripped of.
I wholeheartedly support the EU commission decree and wouldn't be upset with Supercell facing an astounding failure, not because I hate them, but because I think the gaming industry has lost the common sense.
It's fine for a company to make money, but not to abuse it's customers.
Just like a slot machine you are paying for entertainment. Try suing the casino to get your money back and see where that gets you. About the only thing they can possibly do is make games like this where players have the option of paying for ages 18+ or whatever the age of majority is depending on the country in which you reside.Quote:

There is language written into the agreement once you purchase the tickets. All SC has to do is wrap similar language in their TOS and they are covered.
I guess the most important lesson here is be aware of exactly what you are paying for before making a purchase.
