War Weight Changes for Clash on TH11 update - December 2015 changes...

Nobody can answer that question- aside from supercell - or maybe some player I have never met who may claim to know more...

Many smart players have replied... but generally- Weight is not always the same simple X Y Z thing... its impossible to know exactly anything depending on the general choices a player makes every last defense -could - weight a different amount at differrent stages of that base's life.

All you can do is extrapolate = based on the info provided... to know that =at worst - it will not be higher than the highest reported number; and at best - it will likely not be less than the lowest reported #...

If you can always three star players who are 10k heavier than your own personal weight = then it is safe to upgrade one xbow.. and after its finished see the new weight = make sure you can still 3 star above mirror... then maybe do another...

10k minimum; personally if I can not 3 star bases that are 40k heavier I will not upgrade defenses... as a 40/50k player I want to 3 star near max th10 accounts while bringing th8 less as a mirror...

each to their own... depends on how epic you want your clan war log to be.

Just a quick question:

Besides walls (220 Lego's left) and heroes (20/23) I am a totally maxed th9, well actually if it matters my Dark Spell Factory is l3 as Skeleton Spell to me seems useless....

War Weight: 68k

Currently upgrading to 9.5, here's my question.

I have clan mates at 9.5 and they range 69-71k, and the top dude has 30/40 heroes, offensively has almost all th10 troops level 5 freeze....

So ofc gonna add 5th giant bomb and get them to level 4 but will any of the Air Mines Seeking Skele Traps or even DE Drill Elixir Gold Pumps up my weight?

What about upgrading to unlock bowlers and miners?

When you say if you can 3 star 40k heavier isn't that way higher. For example, my base weighs in war at 67k. Would that mean I should be able to 3 star max th10? What is the method you are using to weigh your base? I am using the war-gold method.

Yes the war gold / or friendly challenge gold... My heaviest accounts are around 65k with full th11 attack power unlocked = max miners /bowlers/ and max everything that support any of those end game raids... so I can (easily) 3 star some strong near max th10's - but I cant cleear th11 base since my heroes are still rather low...

Each of my newer accounts can hit much higher - some can do 55k above mirror - Generally we have 5 accoutns per war that can always 3 star enemy #1 =sometimes we have 15 that can do it...

With smart upgrading - and enough other players in the clan who also upgrade smart - your clan should never get less than 100% destruction; unless the clan you are fighting has 'gamed the system' a lot better than you have...

Most 'maxers' and .5 players struggle just to get 3 stars on mirror weights.. with a solid well thought out upgrade plan you can do much better in war...

Again -- no one can tell you exactly what will be added with X Y or Z defense... that completely depends on your current weight an overall account choices...

All you can do is look at the list I made and have a ballpark idea of which add a lot - vs which add a little..

Bowlers/ miners add zero weight... unlocking them / maxing them... nothing.

I have a similar base that just hit TH11 less than a week ago. I call it an 8.5.5.5; it has the 8.5 structures (everything except xbows), brought to TH10 levels (except sweepers). Was 67k; adding grand warden level 1 brought it to 68k in the next war. (For all I know it was at a tipping point.)

I am farming with mass bowlers in champs, and my observation is that even a level 1 warden is a game changer in terms of farming ability. I am smashing TH11 for high percentage wins, and when I find a loaded TH10 I 3 star it. Making 450+450+league bonus on each attack makes saving for the warden easy. So far (going to 5 now) I can farm all the elixir needed in a multi hour boost session. I get 3 starred on every defense, but the most they can take from me is about the same as I get back in a big raid, so as long as I have regular boost sessions I foresee no difficulty at all maxing the warden. Until such time as they nerf the bowler.

Once I get miner4, I plan to switch back to using mass miners and focusing on farming DE to finish up my heroes and lab.

Hi sir...I'm currently at th10 max def except for cannon(10's and 11's) and air defense all at lvl7
My heroes lvls are 32 king and 40 queen and my war weight is at 88k
I'm upgrading my townhall to lvl11
here's my question, if I only get the warden as soon as the upgrade is finished, would it increase my war weight? ...bcoz I'm planning to be a 10.5

Presumably a little bit. Like I said, my war weight went up 1k when I added the warden.

Since the warden is so useful, I'd say it is more than worth it. With non-max heroes and TH10 troops I'm smashing TH10 (that use farming layouts, which describes a lot of TH10, even in war.)

absolutely - adding any item that has weight = will increase your weight... hands down... a warden DEFINATELY will add weight... If you add a warden as a lower weight hybrid or defenseles it will increase your weight by a good bit more - than it would if you are a fully developed town hall 10... but either way- yes- weight will be added on a warden...

Once in a while - some various low weighted defenses may only be LESS than 1k total so you will not see weight added until yu've done a few upgrades...

but warden - xbows/ infernos / eagle - all the end game things -will always add weight at every step... and more weight than in the past because supercell is putting heavier weights on them to help 'balance out war matching' blah blah blah... lol

Updating with a few new things; nothing has changed... consolidated the TRAP and WALL sections because I've noticed a pattern across all accounts...

ALL walls maxed out are about 6k

ALL hidden traps maxed out are between 6 and 8k

level 7 loons and level 4 lava /along with all levels of bowler /minors have zero weight.

When supercell adds new thigns they tend to just blur the numbers a little and leave the overall 'max weights per town hall' un changed.

Getting more accurate numbers on the weight reductions per defense is important; supercell does charge higher impacts for a new level 1 item and as it gets upgraded each new level is a reduced number until eventually all upgrades to it add zero weight...

knowing at what point weight will no longer be added is important to know - because then we could choose to completely stkip a particular defense and instead max another to avoid weight gains AND gain higher defense strength.

Anyone willing to share numbers...

1 your weight before purchasing the upgrade
2 your weight after purchasing it.
