I need some tips for better 3 star attacks in war. Any tips will help. thanks.

Hogs are generally a good 3 star strategy for th 8. My favorite at the moment is drag zapquake, using hogs in cc and a heal to have them take out a mildly exposed air defense. High level pekkas and golems make gowipe almost always guarantee 3 star as well.

Th 8 usually depends on the base layout, If its a compartment base without spaces inbetween, you can try out mass hogz, If its a square shaped spread bases, Gowipe is best, If its a hybrid typed layouts, Mass drags (lvl 3) is the best choice.

Today i 6*ed. Used mass drags against non squared bases, and Gowiped a rectangular base,

At th8 u can pretty much 3 star any base with drags. In fact at th7 u can 3 star most non anti drag th8s. Bolt one ad. Hog another. Especially at th8. Zap quake or BBQ (bolt bolt quake) plus hogs in CC+ 2 of your own hogs for another ad. Leaves 9 drags vs 1 ad and the rest. And still have a dark spell and a full spell left. So either rage for drags or heal for those hogs if they need it. Plus poison for the dragloon in the defending cc.

No you can't if th ad is lvl 6,6,6 its a 2 star, th7 has nothing to do with th8

Surgical hogs if lvl 4 is a better way to go.

That doesn't make sense.... But I 3 star th8s with my alternate all the time. That's as a th7 with level 2 drags. And against a th8 unless it's anti drag... It's a joke to hit with level 3 drags. We have plenty of th8s that consistently get 6 stars in war against max th8s using dragon riders. (Drag hog). With anti drag bases u simply have to be surgical with your entry and funnelling. But it's still very rare that any base stops our really good drag attacks.

I disagree, depends on the layout and funneling probability. I use 8 drags, 8loons/hogs and max cc loons /hogs. Zapquake with either a rage for loons or heal for hogs. 3 stars most of the times unless that one bloody hut in a weird place remains 8-)
